I know, I know……many things happened in these weeks and I didn’t write anything….well I can say that I was way to busy to write anything!!!! If you are curious just email me…..and BTW I am almost done preparing the pictures and I will post them soon!!!

Oh yeah!!! my first week in Sweden!!!! How was it? I can say smooth….really smooth. Workwise everything is ok. My boss is really mellow and my labmates pretty cool and friendly even if the majority are female. The best thing is that the girl I am sharing the office with is pretty cool and friendly. Wow I cannot believe that I got so lucky……is there something hiding somewhere? Well friday I went out for beer with some people of the lab and was quite fun. Beer really help the bonding with the shy swedes…expecially if you have quite a bit! On Sat I went out for dinner with some friends….food was great and we had quite a bit to drink.. …so not to bad for the first week!!!! oh yeah!!!! But the highlight of the weekend was the espresso I had yesterday morning!!! Awesome!!!
Yesterday morning I went out to get an espresso in the bakery across the street because my coffee machine is not in town yet and….. well a lot of cuties getting coffe….i got in the bakery and the cashier was facing the wall, she was picking some tea bag (yes, tea bag!!!) . She had gorgeus red hair. Really wavy and shiny. Agrrrrrrr……and then she turned….all right! Transvestite!!! Great!!!! Perfect start for me in Stockholm…..the coffee and cardamom stuff i had were great and the smiles I got even better!…. at least my ego was happy….I got some attention!!!! wow!!!! here we go!!! OK that is just the beginning of my new life in Sweden……let’s see what is going to happen…. I can tell you that I am a little bit scared!!!!

Ok!!1 I survived the long night!!! the seats were like the wooden benches of a park..but really small!! we had a three people seat but luckily the third person decided to sit somewhere else! I felt like the fat guy in the airplane….nobody wanted to sit close to me ….to much volume!! So Camilla manged to lay down on the bench and I decided to sleep on the floor between two rows o seats facing each other. Was god!!! sleeping with my head facing other people shoes!!! but I slept!!! Now I am in Hanoi and ..nothing special….only a huge amount of tourists. we decided to spend less time in Vietnam and more in cambodia hoping to see less tourists!!! Tomorrow kayaking and biking in Halong bay…I hope that will be fun!!! When we will be back we will catch the 33 hrs train to saygon; we will spend one day there and the Cambodia. We will go in the wild north east…less beaten by the tourist and more difficult to reach….more fun!!!! yeah!!! I will let you know later on!!! now time for another beer

Ok!!!! now that I left China I can check my email again!!!! Well on the way out i had the rough guide to china sequestered at the border……not allowed in China because Taiwan was not included in the map!!! Luckly we are done with it!!! Less weight to carry around in the backpack!!!

China was a great experience. I didn’t like the cities.,… too much smog but the countryside is great! wonderful sciencery and a lot of interesting things to see and to eat!! For the first time I had bugs for lunch and dinner…….really good!!!

Now I am getting ready to catch the train to Hanoi…..I am expecting 11 hr on an hard seat…or the sleeping compartements were gone!!!! Well is going to be interesting considering that we spent already 7 hrs on a bumpy bus to go from YaunYang to the Vietnamese border!!

Fisrt impression…if in China you had to bargain a little…here in 1000 fold morte bargains…luckily I am well trained!!!!! and they are aggressive but i am more and i invade their vital space so….. they are a little bit intimidated!!!! eh ehe considering that here I look big as well!!!!!

and….forgot to say that the big “great firewall” from the Chinese  government is blocking my email site!!!! I am so important and sovversive!!!!!!!! A…mazing 

So china!!! Beijing is so packed of people!!! there is people everywhere and is it is pretty dirty and smelly. The building are all huge and there is people everywhere!!! So we went for dinner yesterday, area far away from everything and only locals. No english at all so I had to walk around the place pointing to a waiter what the other people where eating. Well…. I didn’t know what we were eating. We figured out that we had some interesting soup with intestine and another plate with…….mmmmm…..what? chewy taste funny……raw….mmm what the hell is it? mah………………………… surprise…..raw stomach!!!!!!! great right away in deep Chinese culture!!!!! yuppyyyy
